Put a Crew together of Nick, Thom, and Sean for another wreck fishing trip. First stop, we had a really nice pick of sea bass until we had three eels come up and then the bite really slowed down. Moved to a new wreck that looked to have good life but turned out to only have lots of small sea bass. Last wreck was a little deeper and once on the wreck, it was non-stop action until the south winds kicked in. Had a nice day with the guys and they boxed up 21 Sea Bass in total.
My wife and I decided to go out to the wrecks and see if we could bag some sea bass. What a successful morning it turned out to be! Nothing like drop and reel action, giving us 15 keepers in only an hour and a half of fishing! Too bad we could not stay longer but the kids can’t themselves yet.

Our 2017 season has come to an end this week. The Verdi family wants to thank all of our clients, returning and new, that fished with us this season. I look forward to fishing with all of you in 2018. My family would like to thank Jarvis Marine Inc for keep the boat running all season. A big thanks to Tony’s Bait and Tackle for keeping my bait and gear in tip top shape. Also a special thanks to the Beach Haven Yacht Club for the use of the dock and fuel station.
Today, we had Tom and the SDR Trucking crew on board. Left the dock in the dark knowing we had to be way south before the massive crowd of boats got there. Made it to the grounds and found some fish at first light and quickly put two unders and one over in the box. Thought it was going to go off but, within an hour, there were 1000 boats around. Made a move way north to find three more unders. Lots of ground covered but these guys did an awesome job landing each hook up.
